WEEKLY PROGRAM GUARANTEED DEPARTURES ON SATURDAYS
Join us for a short snowshoe hike through the snowy, dark Paljakka forest. You will experience the magic of moving around snow covered trees. In the winter of 2024-2025, as a guaranteed departure on Saturdays at 8 p.m. as part of the Paljakka’s Weekly (December 27, 2024-March 31, 2025).
Snow reflects any bit of light, coming from the moon or your headlamp, illuminating the trail ahead you. Please keep an eye to the skies as you never know when the Northern Lights might make an appearance.
This snowshoeing tour will start with meeting the guide first in Safari Kitchen & Bar restaurant and then getting the equipment sorted. There will be a brief information session about snowshoeing before heading to the trail.
This program is available as guaranteed departures. Guaranteed departure means that the program will take place, even if there is only one person enrolled.

If you want to rent winter clothes (thermal overall, with or without the set of shoes, gloves, and balaclava), please contact our local safari company Safari Finland. Winter wear rentals are subject to availability – early bookings for winterwear rentals recommended.

Please remember to dress warmly according to the weather. We recommend you wear warm and comfortable outdoors wear and warm winter shoes.
