Join our guided snowmobile safari to the top of the hills! In the darkness of the night, the white snow reflects the moonlight and also the headlights of our snowmobiles illuminate the snow-covered trees so beautufilly! Winter nature offers us a wonderful experience!

In the winter of 2024-2025, as a guaranteed departure on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. and on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. as part of the Paljakka’s Weekly (December 27, 2024-March 31, 2025).

After putting on the thermal overalls, safety instruction and driving basics (which are easy) you are ready to go with our guide into the magnificent Paljakka nature. You will ride with your guide along a well-groomed track to the top of the hill nearby that rises approximately 320 meters above the sea level. On a clear winter night we you admire the stars in the sky and, if lucky the Northern lights also bright the sky.

This program is available as guaranteed departures. Guaranteed departure means that the program will take place, even if there is only one person enrolled.

Instructions and meeting place

Reservation:
Advance bookings, latest by 6 pm on the previous day (on Monday/Tuesday). The guaranteed departures will be filled in order of registration (subject to availability)

Meeting place:

Your guided tour starts with meeting your guide at Safari Kitchen  & Bar restaurant. Our SafariFinland Service Desk is located in the restaurant – we meet there.

Our safari house is located in the heart of Paljakka Village center, next to Safari Kitchen & Bar restaurant, at Rinnetie 4, 89140 KOTILA (municipality: Puolanka).

What will you need to bring? Clothing / equipment recommended:
Please remember to dress warmly according to the weather. We recommend you to wear warm and comfortable extra clothes (e.g. underwear, socks, in multiple layers) under our thermal overall provided for you.
