Sauna Garden

The Lake Resort Sauna Garden (“Saunapiha” in Finnish)  was opened in September 2022. In this new destination of ours, you can find various saunas for many tastes, a big hot tub outdoors and a Lappish style kota hut for organizing events for up to 30 people indoors. A larger event can also be organized on the 120 m2 terrace of the sauna yard.

Sauna Garden consists of three lakeside saunas: Panorama Sauna, Finnish Milk Churn Stand Sauna and  Barrel Sauna. In connection with the Panorama Sauna, there are dressing, washing and toilet facilities separately for women and men or for your own group.

As part of your sauna program, you are also invited to swim in the lake or, in winter, to do some ice swimming. The Sauna Garden also features a big outdoor hot tub that can accommodate up to 12 people.

Opening hours for public: Panorama Sauna is open to the public every day 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Evenings, every day from 4 pm to 11pm/12pm Sauna Garden is bookable for private reservations.

Panorama sauna

Panorama Sauna is the main sauna, and the view of the lake from its window relaxes the mind and body.  In summer, swimming in the lake and in winter, ice swimming is something you should definitely try.

Panorama Sauna features electronic heater that heats the sauna up quickly, so the Finnish sauna with the swimming experiences all year round is available also with a short notice.

The sauna room is for both men and women, so we kindly ask you to wear your swimsuits in the sauna. The changing rooms with a bathroom and a toilet are separate for men and women or to a group.

Barrel Sauna

The shape of the Barrel Sauna makes the sauna especially good.

The terrace of the Barrel Sauna located higher up on the slope, offers wonderful lake views of the lake in front and of the Sauna Garden below. Barrel Sauna is ideal for 3 and maximum of 5 persons at a time. In summertime you can swim in the lake and in wintertime also, but then it is called ice swimming!

Unless otherwise agreed, the sauna’s heating is taken care of by the person ordering the sauna. You will be provided with good instructions. The wood burning sauna stove is easy to use and it doesn’t take much time to heat up the sauna. Firewood is ready in the sauna. The sauna heating time is included in the rental period.

Finnish Milk Churn Stand Sauna 

Finnish Milk Churn Stand Sauna is located right next to the Panorama Sauna. It is a very small sauna, ideal for a couple or friends to enjoy. Sauna has two opposite benches and there is room for 4-6 persons at a time. In summertime you can swim in the lake and in wintertime you are invited for ice swimming!

Terrace and beach in summer

Sauna Garden is located right on the shore of the lake. On the sandy beach, you can get into a summer holiday atmosphere. The beach is sunny all afternoon/evening. Thanks to the large (120 m2) terrace, walking around the Saunapiha is comfortable, even with bare feet.Thanks to the large terrace deck (120 m2), walking around the Saunapiha is comfortable, even with bare feet.

You can easily swim from the pier on the terrace. The large pier is sturdy and it’s nice to spend a summer day there or cool off on the benches of the pier during a sauna break. It is best to go swimming via the pier. The sandy beach is quite deep, so it is not suitable for small children to play in the water. The lake is surrounded by ridges and therefor Sauna Garden is quite windless and the lake also good for activities such as swimming, water running, SUP boarding and rowing.

There is a picnic area on the terrace, where you can grill your own snacks on a wood grill or order meals for your group, in which case we can also prepare meals on site with a paella pan, on the terrace with a fire or a grill.

Ice swimming in winter

From Panorama Sauna, along the peer, you can easily go for ice swimming.

Outdoor hot tub

On the sauna’s large terrace, there is also a big outdoor hot tub that can accommodate up to 12 people. Automatically adjustable heating guarantees safe, pleasant and even temperature water. The water quality is checked and the pool is cleaned daily.  We recommend renting the hot tub as part of your sauna program.

BBQ Hut (“Kota” in Finnish)

The services of the big terrace are complemented by the BBQ hut (in Finnihs “Kota”) located in the immediate vicinity of the saunas. Kota is rented as a restaurant or as additional space for large groups enjoying the saunas, with or without catering.
