Enjoy the easiness of electrically assisted fatbike and the scenic winter scenery on our guided safari late on winter evening.

In the winter of 2024-2025, as a guaranteed departure on Mondays at 8 p.m. as part of the Paljakka’s Weekly (December 27, 2024-March 31, 2025).

Due to the wide, well-gripping tires the bike runs smooth on snow so the guided tour is not physically challenging. The extra wide tyres of fatbikes and the electric engine of the bike makes cycling on snow easy.

Enjoy nature as we lead you into the snowy nature. Naturally, we stop for photographing and there will also be a stop made for a warm drink. On a clear winter evening, we admire the stars in the sky and, if lucky, also Northern lights. Please note that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon dependent on weather and solar wind activity; we cannot guarantee their appearance

This program is available as guaranteed departures. Guaranteed departure means that the program will take place, even if there is only one person enrolled.

If you want to rent winter clothes (thermal overall, with or without the set of shoes, gloves, and balaclava), please contact our local safari company Safari Finland. Winter wear rentals are subject to availability – early bookings for winterwear rentals recommended.

Instructions and meeting place

Reservation:
Advance bookings, latest by 6 pm on the previous day (on Sunday).

Meeting place:
Your guided tour starts with meeting your guide at Safari Kitchen  & Bar restaurant. Our SafariFinland Service Desk is located in the restaurant – we meet there.

Our safari house is located in the heart of Paljakka Village center, next to Safari Kitchen & Bar restaurant, at Rinnetie 4, 89140 KOTILA (municipality: Puolanka).

What will you need to bring? Clothing / equipment recommended:
Please remember to dress warmly according to the weather. We recommend you wear warm and comfortable outdoors wear and warm winter shoes.
