Paljakka is located right amid the highest fells in Kainuu. Skiers especially praise the condition of the slopes and their profile in Paljakka, as well as the fact that skiing here can be enjoyed without big crowds even in the high season. The slopes’ incline to the west and their location in the snowiest area in Finland ensure that the snow conditions are good even with natural snow.
