Enjoy nature with a guide
There are plenty of mushrooms in Finnish nature to pick. To truly experience the Finnish way of living and the closed to the nature, you are invited to join our guided mushroom picking tour in the pure nature of Paljakka.
Your guided tour starts with meeting your guide at the meeting place agreed in advance. You will get a mushroom basket from the guide and we will move into the terrain to pick mushrooms together. During the tour we will enjoy the Finnish-style coffee (“nokipannukahvit”) with a snack over the open campfire.
As we sit by the campfire, the guide shows you how to handle and clean the picked mushrooms and tells how you can prepare food from the mushrooms you picked.
Please remember to dress according to the weather (outdoor clothing and safe, comfortable shoes for walking in a forest)

Please remember to dress according to the weather (outdoor wear and shoes). We recommend to wear clothing that covers the skin and shoes that are safe and comfortable for walking in the forest.
